Purchase of credits & billing
Q: Is there an expiry time limit on my credits?
A: Yes. One year from the date of purchase.
Q: Do I get a refund after I purchase the credits?
A: Absolutely yes. If for whatever reasons you don’t want to use the credits you’ve purchased, please email us at
support@coconect.com and we’ll refund them to you.
Q: I want to delete my account, how do I do that?
A: While we hate to see you go we understand that you may have the need to delete your Coconect account. Just drop a note to us at
support@coconect.com and we’ll delete it for you. If you decide to delete your account, all your keep-in-touch campaign schedules and of course your account, will be deleted forever. If there’s anything we can do to keep you we’d love to hear from you at
support@coconect.com.
Linking your contacts
Q: What is linking? Is it different from importing?
A: The easiest way to look at the difference between linking and importing is that linking is the actual live data whereas importing is static data. To illustrate futher-Linking: it is basically like creating a short cut, sort of like building a bridge between your existing address book (eg: Google Contacts) to Coconect. The data is not stored in Coconect, but remains at your side. Any changes done will be updated in your existing address book. Importing: its like copying your existing address book to Coconect.
Q: Why don’t you have importing function?
A: Trouble with importing is, if you already have an existing address book, you have to maintain two sets of data if we make it a compulsory step. That makes it messy & troublesome when you update your address book as changes are not reflected in both. As most of our users have their existing address book, we decide to leave out importing for now.
Q: How does your linking of address book work?
A: For you, it’s simple. When you first set up your events to schedule, you will be asked to provide the contacts for us to send the messages to. How you do that is to allow us permission to link with your existing address book. Once that is done, whenever you need us to send messages on your behalf, we’ll access the link to grab ONLY the required data to do the job. We don’t need to store your contacts, you don’t need to maintain another address book, sweet.
Q: Can I stop Coconect from linking to my address book at any time?
A: Yes, anytime. Just
sign in, go to Settings page and click disconnect.
Q: What are the address books that you linked to?
A: Currently we link to Gmail (Google Contacts), Yahoo (Yahoo Contact), Salesforce, Zoho, Highrise & Mailchimp. If you are using other address book, email providers, easily import your contacts to your Google or Yahoo contacts by following the instructions below. Once that’s done, just link as usual. We will be adding more in future releases.

Q: Anyway that I can export my Facebook contact email addresses to Gmail or Yahoo?
A: For Yahoo, it’s more straight forward,
see this guide. For Gmail though, you can first export it to Yahoo, then export the contacts to Gmail. Or, you can check out the
Facebook Friend’s Exporter for Chrome.
Q: Can I import an Excel list of my existing contacts
A: Yes! You can import contacts from your Excel file to your webmail account. Remember to convert (save as) the Excel file to CSV file. (
Gmail,
Yahoo) .
Setting, editing, cancelling occasions
Q: Can I modify or edit what I had scheduled?
A: Yes.
Q: How do I cancel my event?
A: Log in and go to Set & Edit occasions page. Check and uncheck the respective occasions.
Q: Can I print the e-cards & other wish list?
A: If it’s a popular request from customers, we may add the feature in future releases. Help us by letting us know your wish list here.
Q: Can I have my logo on the e-cards?
A: No. But you can use the profile photo feature. Log in, go to Profile, and upload your logo.
Reminders
Q: Do you have reminders?
A: More than that! Instead of sending you reminders that you still need to act on, we’ll get it done. Prior to the occasions, we’ll send a confirmation email on the occasions that you had scheduled. This comes with a ready to send eCard and message. Click confirm to send or you can edit it.

Q: What’s the difference between Coconect & Crms or email marketing?
A: As a start, Coconect is focused on keeping in touch regularly for relationship building using events and holidays as touch-point. Unlike usual feature in CRM, you can get a 1 year keep in touch campaign set up in one sitting. In a nutshell, there’s no need to create events. No setting reminders one by one. No templates. Everything is ready to send. It is designed to work with what you already have, meaning there’s no need to maintain another set of address book with us, if you are using existing CRM, you can integrate Coconect into your existing CRM.
