I received this email today from a room rental directory provider. I think I must have signed up years ago while helping a friend to search for a short term place to stay. Granted, I’m really not their target user as I’ve no need to have room listing been sent to me. And that’s the only communication they ever maintain with me, sporadic too. Firstly, I don’t understand the need to remove inactive users unless its interfering with their business operation or taking up too much data space. I opted out of their emails some time ago too.
